Elia graduated from the University of Bologna in 2024. During his undergraduate internship, he spent one year working on the singlet fission phenomenon, and developed a strong interests toward theoretical chemistry that led him to enroll in the in Theoretical Chemistry and Computational Modelling MAster’s program. He is currently carrying out his MSc internship in Valencia under the supervision of Prof. Iñaki Tuñón and PhD researcher Adrián García. His project focuses on investigating the mechanism of ATP and GDP hydrolysis in biological environments through a machine-learning-based approach.
